The service you gave us was beyond all expectations; from the very first contact with you we both felt comfortable and were so grateful that we'd found you!

The support you gave both of us in the lead up and on the day, as well as the planning, was very much appreciated.

Our ceremony was absolutely beautiful and more than we could have imagined. Every little detail was covered from how we should hold each others hands, what colour you should wear, right through to placement of our decorations. You took a lot of the stress out of the planning.

You also took such a lot of hassle away from the Vow writing with your wedding manual - whilst still keeping it very personalised and meaningful.

We were both quite nervous with our vows but you supported us through it all the way, even adding some humour to the ceremony!

Most of our guests commented to us on your excellence as a celebrant. The way in which you presented the ceremony really allowed everyone to warm to you and it only added to the sincerity of the words being delivered by you.

It is hard for us to put everything into words - your support, guidance and the deliverance of our ceremony - it meant so much to both of us.

We could not have asked for anything more and we will always remember you.

Martin and I selected Ann Dally to be our civil celebrant, and she was amazing.

Martin and I warmed to Ann's caring and friendly personality from the instant we met her. We knew straight away that she was "the one" to conduct our very special event.

After meeting with Ann for the very first time, we knew that we could rely on her to take care of every single detail in putting together the formalities of our marriage. She is meticulous in her documentation and presentation, and Ann went out of her way to make us feel as though we were the only couple she was taking care of.

You explained clearly the legal requirements of a marriage ceremony, while embracing, with an open mind, our ideas and themes, both traditional and unusual. Thank you for being our marriage celebrant on our special day. It was a day we will never forget!

You made it extra special for us. You are so well organised, professional and thorough with all the details. Just what busy couples like us need ! The planning and lead up to the wedding went so well, because you had all the "nitty gritty' looked after.

The ceremony was so well "tailor made" to suit our needs. We wanted the extended family involved in it and everyone felt special too.

Many commented on the touch of the girls giving me away and getting Jeff's kids involved in the witnessing. The "Candle Ceremony" touched the hearts of all present. They loved the concept. Our one wish in searching for the perfect person to marry Dan and I was to find someone we both instantly felt comfortable with, someone we really trusted to ensure our ceremony was as special as possible. To think you even showed us what outfit you planned to wear on the day to compliment our wedding party. All our guests commented that the ceremony was so relaxed and that was largely thanks to the way you structured the service, the readings, the vows, the exchanging of rings and the way you so naturally handled the anomalies of the day. Like when you asked Dan the question, "Do you take Linda to be your wife..." and he responded emphatically "Absolutely", there was laughter from the crowd, you laughed along naturally and added, "I wasn't expecting such a sweet response!".

The words we were able to chose from your "bible" of phrases was also perfect allowing us to tailor the ceremony exactly the way we always dreamed our wedding ceremony would be.

We especially thank-you for the kind words you added to the end of the service, "Marriage is the joining of two hearts, may you always be blessed in your hearts with the wonder of this day" - and indeed we shall!

When we first met Ann we knew that she was the celebrant for us. She was open, friendly and there was no pressure to choose her or to choose her that day.

After a very short discussion on the way home, we got in touch with Ann to organise our Ceremony. Ann provided us with everything we needed to write our Ceremony on our second visit, which is something that we had previously not been offered by any other celebrant.

While we were putting our ceremony together Ann was always available for advice.

When my father became seriously ill, Ann went out of her way to help us prepare a Commitment Ceremony in a short period of time. She also suggested that it would be nice to light a commitment candle on the day. When I mentioned that we had considered putting that in our wedding ceremony, Ann came up with the suggestion of the Roses.

Not only did the ceremony mean a great deal to us, but it also meant the world to my father who in the end did not make the journey to the wedding.

The Commitment Ceremony was all he talked about whenever anyone came over for next week. It brought him joy, knowing that he was there to witness our exchange of vows, even though they were not the official ones.

Throughout the process of us completing our ceremony, Ann approached us with the suggestion of including a short poem in memory of my father. Although I was unsure about the inclusion because of the effect that it might have on those present at the ceremony, after discussing it with Tom we both agreed that it should be there. In the end, it was a suggestion that I would not change for the world, and had it not been for Ann, there would have been no mention of my father during the ceremony at all.

On the actual day itself Ann, with her calming and relaxed nature, made the ceremony the joyful experience it is meant to be, rather than the bundle of nerves that we have heard people talk about.

Ann was not just there to perform a wedding that day, she was part of our family, and we thank her for being there to share such a joyful occasion with us. We also appreciate all the advice she provided for both ceremonies, and without her advice of the poem, candle and roses, our ceremonies would not have been what they were, and we sincerely thank her for that.

Both on our Wedding Day and afterwards we have had numerous people commenting on how beautiful and personal the wedding ceremony was. Several guests also remarked that it was the best Civil Ceremony that they have ever attended.

We had such a beautiful wedding day. It was just perfect! A few tears, lots of laughs, but most of all plenty of fun.

We met Ann at a wedding expo and found her warm and engaging, but most importantly, professional.

Ann has this amazing knack of making you feel extremely at ease with her efficient and thorough attitude throughout the ceremony preparation - it truly was second to none. Ann loans you an extensive manual wherein you choose the entire wording for your ceremony making it uniquely yours.

Sadly my beloved mum passed away six months before our wedding, so of course, I was sad she would not be present. However, Ann wrote two parts into our ceremony to celebrate her memory. One where my father pinned one of Mum's brooches onto my dress, and the other was a poem that Ann included which really summed up the relationship I had with her. Ann read this poem whilst I lit a candle in Mum's memory.

Thanks to Ann our ceremony was not only a beautiful occasion, but also a truly memorable one that had not only us, but also our guests, moved to tears. The wonderful part is we both remember all of our day.

As our first gift to each other as husband and wife we exchanged a single red rose, which we have since dried as a special memento of our day.

Just as she had promised, without any fuss, Ann delivered a truly memorable ceremony and whilst Carl was so very nervous and anxious, he got through it, truly without a hiccup - he said he just could not have done it without Ann's understanding and support throughout our weeks of preparation, rehearsals and then her calming influence on the wedding day.

What a great day - and believe me, I have had the experience of other celebrants - but I will always say that Ann is the best! She showed us her true dedication to her role and her professionalism to the hilt - all the way.

Dear Ann,

Mummy and Daddy are helping me with this letter to you because I don't know how to write yet - but they say I'm so clever that I will next year when I'm two.

They said I should thank you for my Baby Naming Day. I had the best time especially the part when all the pretty balloons went up into the sky. It was so cool. All the grown-ups made a big fuss with the candle ceremony.

Everyone took lots of pictures of me even though my dress got very yukky from my naming cake and when we played with the fairy bread and ice cream.

This photo of me was taken when mummy and daddy decided to change me that day because they wanted everyone to be able to see my cute face again. Do you like the halo that daddy put on my head? Mummy said sometimes it doesn't suit me but I don't know what that means.

Mummy and Daddy say that it was the most fun they've ever had, except when they got married, so I feel very special, and they said that you were the best Baby Naming lady they'd ever seen!

When Greg and I were looking for a Marriage Celebrant, we did not know where to start.

When I first saw the photo of Ann Dally on this site, she went straight to my call list.

Ann's photo looked warm and friendly with a feeling of family. Once I called Ann and spoke to her, this same feeling came out in her voice and I new that I was right on track.

When Greg and I went to meet with Ann, we felt very welcome and comfortable. After our initial conversation, Ann left the room briefly. I turned to Greg and said "I don't need to meet anyone else. I want Ann to do our Ceremony" Greg agreed instantly as he had the exact same feeling.

The Manual Ann gave us to choose our vows from was exceptional and helped us to express exactly how we felt on the day. The paperwork Ann assisted us with made it easy for us to concentrate on the vows and not the legal side of marriage. (Not to mention the fantastic Name Changing Pack that made that task so much easier).

Ann was wonderful to travel to our ceremony destination for our rehearsal and was very clear in helping our entire wedding party know exactly what they needed to do on the day. She also had some very helpful tips for the day that we just would not have thought of, but turned out to be quite necessary. (Like the handkerchief my tearful husband required as he watched me walk down the isle.) Luckily for him I also had a handkerchief in case things got very emotional (hidden in a very special spot). This reduced the room to laughter when he put it back where I got it from. Ann's ability to go with the flow of this unexpected act was as if we had planned it, and the ceremony continued without skipping a beat.

It did not even bother us that the weather had taken a turn for the worst and the ceremony needed to be moved inside.

Ann! - Greg and I would like to take this opportunity to send you our deepest gratitude and thanks. The ceremony you performed was beautiful. Your loving and warm nature is heard in every word you say and is heart felt. You are such a special lady to us and we will always remember you and the wonderful job you did on the ceremony and leading up to the wedding helping us to make our wedding day the best day of our lives (so far).

We had a surprise wedding!

I found Ann in the phone book of all places. She was the only celebrant I called because when I spoke to her I instantly built a rapport with her.

Not only did Ann help us through the wedding process, she also helped us write our "surprise" wedding invitation and plan for our "surprise" wedding.
